Wedding and Prom season is here. Many of you will be getting your makeup professional applied. So here are a couple of tricks of the trade to make your makeup look amazing and last all night. First, wash and tone the face. Next, exfoliate with a gentle face scrub. I prefer using Yonka Gommage with facial brushes. This will gently roll off dead skin cells without tearing the skin. After exfoliating, massage a hydrating serum into the skin. Yonka Serum is wonderful. It hydrates the skin while infusing antioxidants deep into the dermal layer. Last, apply an appropriate moisturizer for your skin type. Before you apply an ounce of makeup, use a primer. Primers do not allow the makeup to penetrate the skin, fill in fine lines and wrinkles and mattefy the complexion. After the foundation, spritz a hydrating mist a couple of times. Yonka's Lotion works wonders. It gives a hydrating glow to the skin. After completing your makeup application, dust a translucent powder lightly across the whole face. This also helps set the makeup and takes away any oily shine. Use these techniques and your makeup will last as long as you will! Happy Memories!
