In our lives, we always want things to change for the better. We complain about everything - husband does not care enough, not enough money, kids do not listen, boss is mean, etc. So, we keep looking for something better, something that will make us feel better or as long as it is not "this". We complain to people around us; how some things always happen and we end up in situations that we do not desire.
When we finally get that something that we have always wanted; we want more, and then more. We are never satisfied with what we have. There is always something out there that is better. The thirst of something more and something better is never ending.
However, there is one place that we often overlooked when we look for something better. Because our glass is empty, we are constantly looking for something to fill the glass. As I have said in my previous Blog, we have nothing to give if our glass is empty. But we are looking at the wrong place. We do not look inside ourselves. We already have everything inside of us but we do not want to see them. We incessantly look outside of us to find the answers, to find the truths.
When our glass is full, we will feel the fullness, satisfaction and peace inside ourselves. We will be constantly creating the fullness and peace inside us, and everything around us; we do not need to always want something more or something better.
