Living in the 21st century certainly has its perks. This particular era is also known as the digital age because advanced technology is at an abundance. The 21st century takes the term "convenience" to a whole new level, but one of the downsides of this era can be found in the foods we consume. Yes, this is absolutely true because today's foods are far from natural. The majority of today's foods are laced and loaded with chemical fillers, which come in various forms. This includes parabens, pesticides, insecticides, radiation, growth hormones and GMO. All of these synthetic fillers can potentially cause health issues if consumed on a long-term basis.

Organic Is The Way To Go For Better Health

On the other hand, one of the best things that you can do for yourself is to eat organic. Organic foods are much more healthier than anything that has been processed in a factory. The foods/plants will grow at a natural rate under normal conditions instead of being injected with dangerous chemicals to make them grow faster. Humans aren't the only mammals that get injected with steroids. As you may know by now, a high majority of livestock gets injected with steroid and growth hormones, which helps them grow much faster. On the other hand, these synthetic chemicals are chemically based, and they can lead to a host of internal issues. An abundance of insulin-like growth factor has been reported to lead to cancer in humans.

Have you ever noticed how big chicken wings and chicken legs are nowadays when you shop for groceries? Chickens and other forms of livestock are being produced in higher volumes because farmers are using growth-enhancing agents to a much higher degree than ever before. Of course, this is great for generating revenue because there will be a fresh, new batch of chickens that are being cultivated under these conditions. Though the chicken and other forms of livestock may look healthy on the outside, the inside of these animals can be putrid. When a person eats this type of food, the putrid meats are being absorbed and can lead to some negative side effects.

If you can afford the extra expense, then you'll greatly benefit in the long run. Foods that are organic tend to be loaded with more antioxidants than non-organic foods. Antioxidants do a great job of fighting the signs of aging as well as strengthen your vision. When you eat fruits and vegetables that are highly organic, the vitamins and minerals tend to be enhanced because they're not being negatively affected by foreign agents.

2. Better Digestion

Foods that are organic also do a wonderful job of removing dangerous toxins that have been building up in your body. Digestion is greatly improved, and weight loss can be expected from eating healthy. Your immune system will also get a boost from eating organic. Genetically modified foods tend to be much larger, but many of the food's natural components have been destroyed on a cellular level. As the old saying goes, "bigger ain't always better."

3. Improved Taste

Better taste and environmentally friendly can be expected. In most cases, foods that are produced in their original state will taste better because they haven't been tampered with. This is the way mother nature intended them to be. Synthetic and processed foods can possess a strong taste, but this strong taste comes from the addition of chemical fillers. The soil, air and water hasn't been polluted when dealing with organic food. Soil that has been stripped of its natural ingredients can come from a heavy use of pesticides and insecticides.

All in all, eating organic definitely offers many benefits for better health. These foods can be a bit higher in price, but the rewards are definitely better than risking your health while consuming artificial foods.
