Stephanie A. Carson

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I enjoy working with people from all different walks of life, whether they are simply looking to improve a part of themselves or they have hit a major “bump” in the road. I actively assist clients who are struggling with relationship-based problems, and I have specialized training and experience in treating sexual assault, parental grief, and post-traumatic stress. In addition to my licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I am a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, Board Certified Bereavement Counselor, Certified Sexual Assault Counselor, Certified Trauma Response Specialist, and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.

I believe my clients already possess the answers they need, and I empower them to search for their internal strengths and learn how to use them to overcome their personal challenges. My greatest joy is watching a client reap the benefits of active participation in therapy!
