Nicole LaSelle, <url removed>., PCC has over ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, group, couples and family counseling. Her academic training began at the University of Notre Dame where she earned a BA in Psychology and continued at the University of Dayton, with a <url removed>. in Community and School Counseling. Prior to her work at Professional Psychological Services, she worked as a school counselor for The Miami Valley School and taught courses in psychology and women’s studies. Nicole is currently finishing her doctorate in Counselor Education from Kent State University, where she also counseled students at the counseling center on campus, while supervising master’s level counseling students.
Currently, at Professional Psychological Services, Nicole focuses on the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, eating disorders, sports performance, and trauma. She uses the following therapeutic approaches: cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, solution-focused, narrative, gestalt, family systems, and basic training level eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
