I have extensive experience in treating adult victims of trauma, domestic abuse, child emotional/physical/sexual abuse, and difficult life circumstances. Anxiety Disorders are my area of special interest and study, in particular the treatment of a terrifying and debilitating experience termed a Panic Attack. Over time I have practiced and modified my approach, tailoring it to each individual client. Please feel free to read the Panic Attack section of this website for more information.
I am also bicultural, and have special insight into immigrant family dynamics, and the issues of immigrant or first generation children assimilating to a new culture. I speak and provide services in Farsi, as well as provide consultation to other mental health professionals on providing culturally sensitive psychotherapy to Iranian/Iranian American individuals, couples, and families.
