My passion is helping people maneuver through a world that is not very user-friendly. After working in both the private and public sector,some things happened that shook up my otherwise calm life. I did not believe that those things had happened for a reason but knew that I had to find reason in what had happened to me. I believe that life is about choices. Rather than become a victim to random life experiences, I chose to go to grad school at the age of 50 and become a therapist. Although I practice general counseling, my focus is AD/HD, Asperger's Syndrome, attachment issues, grief, and trauma in children, adolescents and adults.

Interests: I call myself an "info junkie" as I'm only truly happy when I am learning something new. I read a lot and listen to what other people have to say on the myriad of subjects that interest me. I enjoy being with my family, watching my two cats tease and torment each other, seeing and discussing movies, and generally looking beyond the seriousness of life to find the humor of it all.
