Arthur Gazaryants, L.Ac.

Arthur Gazaryants is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. He built his private practices in Calabasas and Lakewood specializing in complex conditions such as chronic pain, autoimmune disease, infertility, fibromyalgia, and different chronic degenerative conditions. Arthur combines medical research from fields of Oriental Medicine, Neuroendocrinology, Immunology, Nutrition, Herbology and Exercise Physiology and successfully applies them into his practice. He has a deep understanding of the fundamental physiological processes and the environmental factors that influence every patient’s experience of health and disease. Arthur approaches each patient on an individual, case by case basis and creates a nutrition and lifestyle based, holistic plan that meets their optimum health care goals.

His approach focuses on the dynamic interaction and balance between internal (mind, body and spirit) and external (physical, social, and environmental) factors that affect the total functioning and health of each person. He understands the complex interaction between the nervous, hormonal, immune, digestive, detoxification and barrier systems of the body. He seeks to unwind the tight web of causes and manifestations that are the result of faulty communication and disruption of homeostasis in those systems.

Arthur is passionate in his quest to help his patients in regaining their health, which he defines as a state of positive vitality, wellness, abundant energy and zest for life.

Arthur graduated a Master of Sciences of Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College of Oriental Medicine summa cum laude. He interned at Daniel Freeman Hospital in the drug and alcohol detoxification and surgical recovery department. He also interned at UCLA Health and Wellness Center and West Hollywood Free Clinic. Prior to his Oriental Medical degree, he was in a Master of Sciences engineering program at Cal Poly. Arthur lectures and teaches on the topics of Natural Health, Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Nutrition and Functional Medicine to both professionals and the public. He also advises other doctors and healthcare practitioners on how best to help their patients by interpreting hormonal results, blood and urine chemistries.
