Suzanne Malamud is a Registered Dietitian, who graduated from California State University’s Coordinated Undergraduate Program in Dietetics. Suzanne also holds B.S. degrees in Food/Nutrition Science and Health Sciences as well as being a Certified Personal Trainer for the last five years.
Her dietetic internship at Northeast Valley Health Corporation put her in touch with her creative skills while developing a Diabetes Project for use in WIC (Women, Infants and Children) centers.
She has continued her career at WIC providing her with the ideal opportunity to assist individuals and expand her research skills. Nutrition education is an integral part of her job. The use of nutritious, supplemental foods is a great approach to accommodate individuals who are facing nutritional risks.
Suzanne is very active in the community. She has taught school children about the dangers of eating disorders and took on a leadership role serving as the Fundraising Chair for the California Dietetic Association, Los Angeles District and as Fundraising Officer on behalf of The Student Dietetic and Food Science Association.
