Biography
Dr. Scott Wolfe is a Clinical Psychologist and Certified Gottman Method Couples Therapist and Workshop Leader who practices in Columbia, Maryland. Dr. Wolfe has specialized in individual and couples counseling for over twenty-five years and he has helped hundreds of couples, individuals, and families enrich their relationships, improve their communication, and find deep, lasting emotional connection. He has trained with leading family therapists at the University of California, San Francisco and the California School of Professional Psychology-Fresno where he was later on the adjunct faculty. He also has been a clinical supervisor for Loyola College and has been a consultant for The Johns Hopkins University research program "Keeping Families Strong." Dr. Wolfe’s specialized areas of expertise include marital enrichment, premarital assessment and counseling, parenting, affair recovery, fertility distress, sexual issues, same sex couples, and step-family parenting. Dr. Wolfe also provides marathon couples therapy for couples in crisis, couples on the brink, or for couples coming from out of town where there is no Certified Gottman Couples Therapist available.
