Dr. Salem received his bachelor’s degree from Manhattan College and continued his education at New York University College of Dentistry. There he received his doctorate in dental surgery.
Dr. Salem then began his practice in New York while continuing to study at Peninsula Hospital Center, a major teaching affiliate of the North Shore University Hospital. Here he received extensive training in implants and fixed prothodontics. Dr. Salem continued his training with the highly recognized Implant Maxicourse given by New York University and Brookdale Hospital. Additionally, he has recently become a diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, an honor only a select group of doctors worldwide have accomplished.
Dr. Salem’s professional memberships include the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Nassau County Dental Society,, The Academy of Osseointegration, The American Academy of Facial Aesthetics, The International Academy of Mini-implants and the American Academy of General Dentistry
