Susan Thomas
Dr. Susan Thomas graduated from New York University College of Dentistry, New York, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) Degree, receiving honors in Esthetic Dentistry. She was inducted to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) a prestigious dental society honoring the top graduates in the country.
Dr. Thomas is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry. Prior to joining the Richmond Smile Center team, Dr. Thomas served as a General Dentist at Hazzouri Cosmetic and Family Dentistry, a state-of-art-practice that has been well renowned in Pennsylvania since its beginning in 1949, garnering experience in all specialties of dentistry and patient care.

Interests: Throughout the years, Dr. Thomas has volunteered her time and talents in many ways, including Pulse polio, Typhoid & Hepatitis Vaccination Camps, Andheri, Mumbai, India, Free medical and dental checkup & treatment camps for public schools, Kandivili, Mumbai, India; Health checkup camps for Shiv Sena Mandal, MHADA, Mumbai, India; Health awareness campaigns - The Navi Mumbai Municipal Co-operation; Health care centers at the local schools of the slums of Dharavi, India.
In her spare time Dr. Thomas and her husband Parik, a cardiologist at Virginia Commonwealth University, enjoy travelling, learning about new cultures and spending time with their loved ones. They also share a common interest in music and meditation.Their ultimate goal is to give back to the community by working with charitable organizations in India and the United States to provide necessary dental and medical treatment to those in need.
