My name is Jennifer Scherer and I grew up in Northern Virginia (Gainesville). During high school I played first base for the varsity softball team and I swam for the neighborhood and school swim team. I also taught swim lessons to children in the summers and plan to continue when the opportunity arises.

During my Freshman year at the University of Mary Washington I became certified as an Emergency Medical Technician, and was an active member at Chancellor Volunteer Rescue Squad for 4 years.

Currently, I am a senior at the University of Mary Washington and will graduate in May 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. As a Certified Personal Trainer my goal is to work with people and make a positive difference in their lives by combining proper nutrition with regular exercise.
