When I found out I had Bilateral Breast cancer I was in a panic as to what to do. Just Radiation and Lumpectomy or breast reconstruction. Dr. Bayati said I would have to make a decision right away, because they could not do surgery after a lumpectomy, which I found out later was not true. ( After 6 years I am still a candidate ) Dr. Bayati had an open house which I went to. I did not purchase anything, I thought an open house was an information factfinding affair. A few years later I went for an appointment to see if there was something that could make my neck look better without surgery. Dr. Bayati said she had offered something and I did not take it and now it was too late. I was taken into the office of her associate who used a very fast and pressured sales technique. Confused and feeling very pressured, as if I had done something wrong ( Dr. Bayati said I had been there three times and this appointment was the last time she would see me) Although, the office always expressed I could have a consultation anytime and did not mention a limit. In my mind I did not consider an Open House an appointment. I ended up signing for a full neck and face lift which the Dr. said had to be done in order to "fix" the neck. It was over 17,000.00.! I walked out of there in a daze! As soon as I got in my car , I thought what have I done! I can't afford that kind of money, I don't want a face lift! Yes, I had signed the contract and given a deposit of $!,000.00. Even that was a lot of money for a retired woman on a fixed income who had just lost her husband. I called back immediately, asked if I could cancel and have my money returned. The Dr. said no. I then called again and said could I use my deposit for other services, facials, botox etc. The Dr. said NO and I was out of 1,000.00! I take responsibility for signing the contract. But, I would have thought the Dr. would at least allow me to use it for other services! I do not recommend this Dr. She is heartless, unethical and the pressure tactics are to humiliate you if you do not sign on the dotted line. I would love to leave my name, but out of self preservation I can not. If I could have given no stars I would have.
