My husband was here for 3 weeks and it is a succus!!! The staff at kindred was kind & most of all great at what the do. He was was weened off ventilator very quickly along with feeding tube. I can't say enough about the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapist, nurse's assistant's,speech therapist, occupational therapist and physical therapist excellent job thank you so much!! If I had any questions everyone was there to help us.

I had a very wonderful recuperation at kindred hospital and want to emphasize how warm and friendly the atmosphere was that the entire staff created. Not only were they good at their jobs and quick to respond but if they had time were willing to have a conversation with you. I believe that as small a thing as that is, it is very helpful to a patient. Again, I want to thank the entire staff at kindred hospital for their exceptional effort. From the doctors, the nurses, asst nurses, physical therapists,social worker staff, everyone- for helping me to achieve a successful recovery.

I had atop notch recovery@ st.josephs from a serious cancer surgery. The staff was always cooperative, ready to help, and efficient. That includes doctors, nurses, nursing assts, physical therapists, wound specialists and the social support staff. I want to emphasize how friendly and warm the entire staff was. Always ready to have a conversation if they had time. A small thing like this is really important when you are recuperating. I would recommend st.josephs very highly.

All personnel, both medical and otherwise, were very caring and professional. They were all fully informed and attentive to his particular needs. The facility is extremely clean! All nurses were wonderful. All the caseworkers were excellent, especially the supervisor Valerie and Ivette. Highly recommend Kindred Hospital in Wayne, within St Joe's Hospital in Wayne. Thank you for taking such good care of my brother!

After a rocky start, and extra advocating from family members, things turned around for the better. Understaffing caused extra wait time for many daily needs. Many individual staff members clearly go out of their way for patients... Namely Marlon, one of the respiratory therapists. Marlon followed the plan of care very closely and checked in, even when he was not the assigned respiratory therapist.

My stay here at Kindred has be good. Kindred has gotten me to my next level of care and I am so very greatful. Being ready to go spend the holidays at my sister is the best recovery ever. I would like to give thanks to the following people that has help me through my recovery. The whole physical therapy department, occupational therapy your wound care Nurse Bobbie Jo, Susan Nurse, Christine Nurse, Fernando Nurse, Darcia Nurse, Dorothy CNA, Diane CNA and of course last but not lease is Beth the Case Manager, the amazing person who made going to my sister home possible she made all of the arrangements. Thank you Kindred for the excellent patient care which has got me to my next level of care.

My husband who is from New York came to kindred with many afflictions: he is a double amputee on dialysis,with a open wound on his stomach from adbdominal surgery,TPN feeding,colostomy bag, bed sore on his bottom,and reduced mental status.no medical facility in New York City was able to serve him. he was welcome at Kindred and I am grateful to the many kind skilled people and the service he receiving at kindred.

Thank you for the excellent care here at Kindred in Wayne. It would be unjust to pick anyone in particular, everyone from housekeeping to the nureses staff always were very polite and always looked out for your needs/desires. The doctors in particular Dr. Porter who visited me everyday 7 days a week. To check my progress answer all of my questions and made every effort to satisfy me. Pattie the case manager made all this come together for me by making sure everything was in place at home for me to go home. Dietary offer me an open menu to satisfy my likes. Unfortunately the facilty is close to 3 hrs from my home which limited friends and family from visiting. After paying social security and family insurance for 40 plus years I was sent here by insurance company. This is what we now call Obama Care. Again thank you very much. Lawrence Delmar
