There is are reasons that Dr. Anzola's schedule is so full. She and her staff provide great service and are up-to-date on the latest technologies available. She holds three college degrees: a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Audiology. Her breadth of knowledge will amaze you. Best of all, she doesn't over-prescribe or try to sell you something you don't really need. She can reduce a highly technical subject to terms that can be readily understood. If you ever email her she will either respond directly or call you back very quickly. All these thing equate to great personal care. She is quite good at what she does.

Excellent reception from the moment I walked in the door. I purchased my Starkey hearing aids in Florida where we reside part of the year. I needed some service and found Ascent through the web site.The receptionist quickly handled the mechanical issue I had, and we scheduled an appointment to review my last test from Florida and arrange to look at the other mechanical issue which may require return to the factory. All very efficient.

I went to Ascent last year to see if I could get better hearing aids. They recommended a pair of Starkey hearing aids that are over the ear but nearly invisible. I have had them for almost a year and find them to be terrific. I hear better, they are easy to maintain, they do not cause ear soreness, and I can adjust them to be louder or softer and directional. Also, the service offered by Ascent has been oustanding, to include free batteries for a year.

Dr. Anzola, in over the three years as a patient, she has always provided follow up as needed, on a regular basis and uses the latest technology. When you walk into the office, the staff and Dr. Anzola are always very welcoming, As a senior, over 80, I feel I receive the best of care.

Dear Dr. Anzola, I thought you ought to know how the professional services of Marci Smith are appreciated. I am a patient of audiologist Marci Smith. I have been so impressed with Marci Smith's expertise, patience, pleasing personality and ability to decipher hearing issues that I felt a need to write many positive reviews online so everyone who needs an audiologist knows with whom to schedule a visit. As a first time hearing aid user, it has not been easy to identity the right brand of hearing aid and the appropriate adjustments and settings that are best for my situation. Yet, Marci Smith has been able to do just that--all with warmth and caring, and understanding of that variables going into these decisions. So...thank you Dr. Anzola, for employing such a competent and personable audiologist as Marci Smith.

The ultimate in hearing care
Dr. Anzola has provided hearing care for a dear friend of ours who lives out of town. Her hearing is significantly compromised, and Dr. Anzola has found a solution that opened her world back up.. Dr. Anzola's indepth knowledge along with her primary focus to help her patients is beyond our expectations as she always has gone out of her way to meet our friend's needs. She ensures that all our questions are answered, solves problems that could not be resolved by other audiologists, keeps us away from technology that sounds great but won't help our friend and ensures our friend's care continues when she returns home. She is definitely a role model for other doctors!!!

Judy and Bob place accent on Ascent

Judy should have her hearing examined and wanted to find a reliable audiology firm in our Centreville, VA home area. Our family physician suggested we call Dr. Ana Anzola of Ascent Audiology in McLean for her help. She answered our call and gave us contacts nearer our residence area and followed up that call with additional prospects. Dr. Anzola was immensely helpful, knowledgeable about our needs and so friendly, we decided on the spot to ask for an appointment with her in McLean. Judy kept her appointment, she was diagnosed to require hearing assistance in both ears. Insurance covered nearly half of the cost and we learn more with each visit to Ascent. We are happy commuters to and from McLean and Centreville with accent on Ascent.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST EVER!

My husband has a 90% hearing impairment

Outstanding, caring, professional service above and beyond anything i have experienced before!!

I have suffered hearing loss going back to my military service - sixty years ago. I came to the end of the road in 2004, when a brain scan found that I had a tumor on my left ear nerve; never to to have the use of my left ear again.
I had the good fortune of meeting Dr. Anzola a number of years ago at a seminar in Reston. At that time I wasI was highly taken with her vast knowledge, professionalism, and caring manner.
I was so impressed with her abilities and candor; I felt she was the one who could optimize my ability to hear better. The past three years that I've been a patient of Dr. Anzola she has been able to maximize my hearing ability beyond anything I could have imagined; in spite of having one ear to work with.
