At first time my Mother Julia was a patient at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Then she was released and sent to another Healthcare facility for 18 days. She showed no improvement. My Mother was sent back to St. Joseph’s hospital, released and sent to Regency Gardens. She was not responding well when she arrived on April 20, 2015. Since she has been here, she has shown remarkable improvement. My Mother has responded favorably to therapy and nursing care at Gardens. Michelle and Rosemarie have been instrumental in providing individual care for her recovery.

Marybeth, Director of Nursing, and all of the nurses and CNA’s on the second floor have been very exceptional, caring for all of my Mother’s needs. The recreation girls have been wonderful to my Mother.

I owe a special thanks to Nino, Maintenance Director, for comforting my Mother and speaking to her in Italian. Mr. Palma, Housekeeping Director, keeps the facility clean and orderly and also gives individual attention to my Mother.

Regency Gardens is a wonderful, exclusive facility for our loved one’s specialized care.

When I got to Regency Gardens after five months sick in the hospital, the
only thing I could do was stand up from my wheelchair. When I left, I could walk and go up and down stairs. Now I can walk without a walker or a cane and just got the OK to drive again. Of course, since I can drive, I came back to thank all of my buddies who made it possible.

My mother was at Regency Garden in Wayne NJ. She had the best care. Everyone was so nice and caring. She and I are so grateful for all they did for her.

Regency Gardens in Wayne is a wonderful facility. Everyone greats you with pleasant smiles! My family member was there for 5 weeks, the physician took care of every concern we the family had and those we did not know existed, the nursing staff helped relieve concerns we had ands took care of all medical issue, and THE REHAB DEPT was outstanding, building her strength and abilities to best take care of herself! It is a place you know your family members will be well taken care of!

I had my mom here for a couple of weeks and I was very pleased with the service they gave her.I would take her back with no doubts.The staff are very friendly and they take out of their time to speak to you and answer any questions or concerns you may have.I would recommend this facility to friends and family.

Too many people to thank in my 30 day stay. Yacoov, Tyrone, Mary, Chrisi best nurses. Coco (my ziva) best head nurse. Rec. Eli, Liz and Ruth. Aides LoDonna, Tracy, Evita, Bishop. Maint. Nino you are the best do it all person I have met. Naomi/Juana thank you for keeping my room SPOTLESS! Lamont/Willie/Ismael thank you for your companionship and availability to do just about anything. Therapy was excellent thank you all, Mary, Ken, Michelle, Sofia and Bernice. Kendra thank you for your attention to my special meal needs...Mark and Carmela thank you for everything. Kristin thanks for your hard work. If I missed someone I'm sorry, it was a overall a good place for me. Thank you all!

May 31, 2014 is the day our Mom, Ida, was transported to Regency Gardens Nursing Home in Wayne and ever since that day my family has been forever grateful to every nursing staff there!!! The night before she was going to move from St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital to the Regency I received a phone call from their Adm. Director, Carmela. She was my guardian angel that night and STILL IS!!!!. It was the most difficult time in my life trying to make the right decisions and to figure out what would be the best and safe place for our Mom to live. Thanks to Carmela's warm and personal phone call that night. I knew right there and then we made the right choice for our Mom. After I hung up the phone with her and had I good cry of stress release!!! I finally went to bed. Thanked God. And had the best sleep ever in a long time because I knew my Mom was going to be surrounded with people who REALLY care and it has been that way for her ever since she moved to her new home!!! Thank you to the staff, nurses, doctors, aides, cooks, cleaning crew and volunteers for all you do!!! We truly are forever grateful for each and everyone of you!!!

My Cousin was admitted to the Wayne Facility in a very weakened condition. Thru excellent care plus physical & occupational therapy every week day he regained a lot of his strength along with a better mental outlook. The food was good & the facility was kept very clean. The staff was always upbeat, friendly & treated my cousin very well. The Director of Admissions gave me her cell phone number & told me to call her anytime I had any concerns. Because of excellent care & physical/occupational therapy my cousin was discharged after a five week stay. I would recommend this facility
