The waiting from is not private at all, and in fact you can hear people in with counselors talking. the bathroom has never had toilet papers in months. They charge for your records to be sent to SSI or any other doctor unfront. The doctor is not allowed to sign jury duty! The owner is not a doctor and does not provide parking so you have to walk well employees park in the lot. Phone rings well you are in sessions and 99 percent of the time it is someone wanting to change an appointment that the receptionist should be handling, let alone screening since you're paying for a 1 hour and you're interrupted repeatedly. There is no air conditioning or heating and they are not allowed to open the windows owner won't let them. So if you go in after a smoker you sit in stink, and during winter you keep your coat on and summer you just sweat. The only thing wonderful about this practice is Dr. Shaw, she is professional, kind, compassionate and seems to really care, unfortunately the owner overrides her as well. During winter they didn't even get rid of the ice on the walk ways. Owner could care less about patients!

They really make no effort to maintain a professional appearance here. I was shocked at how unprofessional they looked. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff made me feel stupid for calling. I avoided calling because I didn't want to feel stupid. Getting a convenient appointment time with them is almost impossible. They have really weird availability and I always have a hard time making an appointment. I understand they're busy, but I'm getting really tired of them postponing my appointments all the time. Every time I make an appointment, it's usually postponed at least a week. They had a receptionist called Luis who cancelled my appointment 3 times and blamed me. Completely a waste of time.

One of the first things I noticed about this business was that they were not handicap-accessible and offered no means for handicapped individuals to enter the building. In fact you are not even allowed to have a stroller. So don't bring babies or other children with you. There were barriers everywhere making it practically impossible to get in the front door. I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. Getting a convenient appointment time with them is almost impossible. They have really weird availability and I always have a hard time making an appointment. They also cancel appointments with no warning ( I was actually on my way there when they called to cancel) and often have no record of an appointment being made when we get there for the appointment. We are always kept waiting at least 15 min or more. The staff must have not been trained very well and they have a turn over rate of 3 months. Always new office staff or a new psychiatrist. Almost every time I would ask them a question, they'd refer me to their boss or someone else. I gave them many chances. 2 years is long enough of this torture. They are horrible!
