Our animals have been patients at KAH most of my life. When I was a child my mom always drove the next county over to see Dr. Coker and his staff, preferring the care given by Kingstree Animal Hospital over options in our hometown. Now, while I have a local vet for emergencies, I still drive three and a half hours back home to take my Monsters to Kingstree. They are consistently knowledgeable, caring, and efficient. Today, I was reminded of why. It's Friday, and my family and I were preparing for a weekend back in SC. My female dog Bridgette asked to go out and when we went for our walk she had blood in her urine. I immediately came in and called the local vet. I was told that blood in the urine was a possible cause for alarm, but that Bridgette could not be seen until TUESDAY. I was told to try the emergency vet in the next county. Having been to this facility and not been impressed, I called KAH. I will be taking Bridgette there first thing in the morning. Thank you, Kingstree Animal Hospital. I think we've probably been patients with you for twenty years now (if not, it's close to that) and you are always there when we need you.
