I have visited this office several times and am generally pleased with their care. Dr. Conlin has been great and most of the staff are pleasant and caring. However, this weekend I took my dog and their newest vet was on staff. She was rude and called my dog round, which she should not have done upon her first meeting with us and when we were in a crisis. She ran lots of tests and basically indicated our dog was dying, yet did little to assist. We came home with no more than we went with other than a bunch of bad news and no plan of attack. It was definitely not worth the 330.00 we paid. We had to wait for 1/2 hour to check out becaused the vet was chatting with another vet who had stopped by for something...gee, think my DYING dog wanted to go home????? My regular vet this morning has been a lot more optomistic and helpful and thankfully, our dog will be getting some help. I will use this service again as I think on the whole they do good work but I guess from now on I will have to pray Dr. Conlin is working.

Our cat, Alex needed emergency care overnight & was referred by our local vet. This was our first visit there & the care & quality is OUTSTANDING. We were allowed to call & check at all hours of the night. We love these folks!

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and were always available if I thought of any more questions I want answered. My pet was in emergency care overnight and they welcomed me calling in to check up on her, even at 3:00 AM. Their staff behaves in a comforting but absolutely professional manner. They were realistic with the survival expectations of my pet yet hopeful. I felt that they genuinely wanted to do everything they possibly could to save her...and they did just that. It's difficult to balance professionalism with compassion in the field of healthcare in general, but they have mastered it.

Unbelievabley gentle, it is very apparant they truly care about pets well-being and comfort

The Drs and staff at AVET have seen several of our pets over the years, and have always treated us and them with all of the kindness and affection that any pet owner could ask for. We recently lost our dog to cancer, and had it not been for the expert treatment and sympathy we received from Dr Joe Conlin and his staff, we dont know how we would have pulled through. I would reccommend this Emergency clinic to anyone and everyone who has a pet in need of urgent care!
