My cat that I had adopted from the animal shelter 2 years ago became very ill over the weeke nd and with one hand on my cat and the other on my laptop, I looked up emergency vets in my area. I called Lake Huron Vet Clinic at random and they said bring Goldie right in. They did blood work, gave me medicine to give him and explained what tests they were running and when the results would be in. Goldie grew sicker overnight and I was having surgery that morning but I called them waiting to go into the operating room. They had the results in, explained them to me and told me to bring him back which i couldn't do till next am. Goldie was 2 sick, all the money in the world would not have saved him and he was suffering. I was told all our options and shown the lab results and xrays to make my decision. Sadly, Goldie was only suffering and wasn't going to get better so I made the decision to end his suffering. Golldie is the newest angel now and waiting on me and his brother to meet up again one day and until nthen he is chasing butterflies and breathing normally at the rainbow bridge. The staff and doctor at this vet clinic were so compassionate, thorough, understanding and affordable. I have no doubt Goldie was given the very best care and they did everything possible to find out very quickly what was causing his sudden, severe condition. I have no regrets in taking my beloved pet to them. Money was no option at the time, I would have sold the clothes on my back for my cat but they were very affordable and I don't feel charged me for one thing extra or unneccesary. If you need a good vet to entrust your pets care to, I would reccomend this place.
