I have used Gentle Care Animal Hospital for the last 10+ years. The staff is friendly, helpful and very caring. They have seen us through 2 of our aging fur babies aging gracefully, then battling heart conditions, cancer & liver/kidney issues and ultimately their passing. Now they continue to care for our 3 other babies. They work around my schedule when necessary & Dr Blackburn & Dr Sullivan have never failed to call me back with any concerns I may have had. Their prices are more than reasonable.

Carrie & Paula, the front office staff are awesome, they know me when I walk through the door. If you're looking for somewhere to take your pet & have someone genuinely care for your pet as well as your own well being, this is the place to go. I would recommend anyone to Dr Blackburn & the Gentle Care Animal Hospital Clinic.

I'm very upset with how unprofessional the office manager, carrie, spoke to me today. I have been calling for the past 3 weeks trying to reach her & when I finally do, she gets on the phone with me & chews me out because I wanted to question my last vet bill.

The first thing she tells me is "What do you want me to do...we're not gonna give you & refund & Dr. Sullivan is a great doctor & you're accunsing her over overcharging you"

Apparently, the office manager had her panties in a twist & took it out on me because I wanted to go over my bill.

FIRST of all, you NEVER tell the CLIENT "what do you want me to do?" Its YOUR JOB CARRIE to talk to me in a PROFESSIONAL manner & figure that out yourself!!!

SECOND of all, I NEVER ASKED FOR A REFUND!!! So WHY are you accusing me of something I NEVER ASKED FOR??? IDIOT!!! WHAT I WANTED was a NOTE IN MY CHART for future visits EXPLAINING that I wanted to keep my costs within a certain price range. But you were too busy being HATEFUL to me, THE CLIENT, to find that out!!!

THIRD of all, I never accused Dr. Sullivan of overcharging me. The UNPROFESSIONAL office manager ACCUSED ME, THE CLIENT of saying that!! LIAR! Just because I called & wanted to go over my vet bill doesn't give you the right TO PUT WORDS IN MY MOUTH THAT I NEVER SAID. And yes, Dr. Sullivan is a great doctor.

However, carrie, you ARE AN UNPROFESSIONAL office manager that needs to take NOTES from the girls at the front desk on how to TALK & RESOLVE AN ISSUE WITH A CLIENT.

There's an old saying, you can attract more HONEY with bees than you can with VINEGAR. Clearly, you need to be trained on how to TALK TO PEOPLE IF YOU EXPECT THEIR FUTURE BUSINESS.

But don't worry, you were hateful, rude & made it clear that you didn't want my businesss...AND YOU SHALL NOT GET IT EITHER!!!!

--This was written from a past client who in less than 1 year, spent $900 at their vet. And you think that it's ok to talk to someone like that who's spent that kind of money at this vet. You're outta your damn mind. Grow up & learn how to treat your CLIENTS!
