My neighbor had a stray dog wonder into her yard with porcupine needles all over its face and legs. It was such a friendly dog and it looked to be in so much pain. We called a vet in Kittianning and asked if he could lower his cost to remove the needles on this dog that was a stray. We were told it would be around $300 at least. We did not know what to do because that was a ridiculous price. We called Dr. Drummond and he took care of the dog at a fraction of the cost of what that vet in Kittanning was going to charge us. Dr. Drummond also let the dog stay over night and gave it a rabies shot and a flea treatment. He gave a flea treatment to be repeated in 3 weeks and also antibiotics. We were so happy he took care of this dog and was sympathetic torwards our situation. I am sure the dog was happy too.
