I was disappointed with this vet. The Humane Society in Thief River told me that he is the one they used so I decided to go there since I figured they would already know my pets. The receptionist was very friendly, but the vet was not. He never really asked me any questions, nor did he really talk to my pets in a loving manner. He was very rough with both of them. I was a bit angry. I was allowed to stay with them, but the exam room was not clean when I walked in. It was full of fur and medical utensils all over the table. He seemed to not even care about either of my pets! In fact he pulled one of my cats out of the cage cleaned his ears, and then shoved him back in, and then when he pulled out my female cat he pointed to the cage and told me that my male cat needed a prescription for his ears because he had an ear infection, but I was confused when I got to the front desk and they gave me the prescription for my female cat! I am not going her again. I would if the receptionist was the vet! She seemed to actually care about my cats!

The office staff are friendly and helpful. The Dr is NOT. He may be better suited as a large animal vet. Doubtful. He is the worse small animal vet I have visited. He'll handle your pet like a sack of potatos. It took him three tries to give a simple shot. If you want a vet to take the time to explain what he's doing to your pet before he does it, look some where else.

They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff made me feel comfortable asking and were helpful in answering.
