Dr. LaCava is the best. He has been recognized by his peers many times since I have known him. He is very consistent in insuring that the best care is always provided and he does not give up on me ever. Even when I screw it up myself. I have been going to him for 13 years since my Type II diagnosis and I have no desire to see anyone else. It is more like a sit and chat than a doctors visit. He always updates my other doctors and writes the coolest letters. AKA they usually start with " It was my sincere pleasure to meet with....." etc.
