Dr Gelfand is great, his staff are the worst. They do not return calls, for refills, severe problems w/ medications for any reason. It takes 2 to 3 calls to get through. In my humble opinion his staff simply don't care are going to get him in trouble thru their negelect and patient abandondment. See him but be prepared for his staff. If he knew about their "work ethic" I'm certain several of them would be "out the door...looking for employment elsewhere"

Absolutely not! I constantly have to repeat and re-explain my situation!
Did the staff make you feel uncomfortable when you called with questions or concerns?
Absolutely! They made me feel like my questions and concerns were stupid
Did this provider use excessive foul language?
Somewhat. It was a little excessive.
Did you spend a lot of time in the waiting room at this provider's office?
I waited forever for my appointment!

Every single time, even if it's been months since my last appointment!!

Not at all, their office smelled fantastic!
Were the waiting room chairs comfortable at this provider's office?
Extremely comfortable; I could have fallen asleep
Were the staff members able to answer your questions?
Yes, they were able to answer my questions
Did this provider seem well-trained and experienced?
Absolutely, they were an expert!

The chairs in their waiting room were definitely above average. I was comfortable. There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. They were very polite and helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed. Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable. I am always so impressed with how quickly my calls are answered here. I am never put on hold for a long time and love knowing that if I have a quick question I won't have to wait a half hour through terrible music to get it answered.

Yes, they listen to all complaints and make every effort to correct the situation.
Did this provider use excessive foul language?
Not at all! They are always respectful and courteous!
Was this provider's office too cold?
No, it was fine
Did this provider ever take personal phone calls while in the appointment room with you?
No, they've never taken personal calls with me
How would you compare this provider to others in his/her field that you have visited?
Among the best I have seen

Dr.Gelfand practices medicating children soley on parents reports
of behavior instead of privately interviewing or observing them.
Followed by increasingly medicating at a parents request without
evaluation or diagnosis.
Dr. Gelfand studied at a University in the Dominion Republic
that has been closed for selling medical degrees!
And he continues to practice in PA ?!* BEWARE
