At first I had a long story written about Dr. Meyers, but then I deleted it. All that needs to be said is this: He used to be a wonderful doctor whom cared about his patients. He used to be a wonderful doctor whom listened to his patients. He used to be a doctor that showed his patients he enjoyed helping them, and WANTED to help them.

Sadly, he is no longer that doctor.

I have been his patient for a decent amount of time, at least 10 years and I used to really like him. I trusted him enough to send my Mom to see him. His assistant is very rude and I could look past her, because I liked him so much. Then the past few years his level of care has gone down. On several occasions I have had to figure out my own diagnosis or research and ask him specific questions to find the answer I needed for my treatment.
This past March my Mom was hospitalized and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer and he could have cared less, she was trying to get information and he refused to do anything for her because he wasn’t the “treating physician” but he was her primary care physician. I think he missed all the signs of what was wrong with her, he kept treating her for an infection because of her blood work and the entire time she had cancer. He now has refused to refill her thyroid medicine unless she came into the office; she is not very mobile now and is at home under hospice care, so the hospice nurse had to have the oncologist prescribe her medicine for her. It is so evident that he just wanted the money for her office visit; her thyroid medicine hasn’t changed in years. I am so tired of Doctors that don’t care about their patients! Do go to see him unless you want to have research and tell him how to treat you.

I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. They never left me for an extended period of time and I never felt ignored. This provider has helpful information available online, which is really convenient. They have a good website and online presence. I couldn't believe how knowledgeable and well-informed the staff was. They were able to answer all my questions, except the ones they needed to have their boss's input on. It was great to be able to talk to such a skilled staff.
