After trying a few different dermatologists over the last 7 or so years for the same recurring skin condition, Dr. Spillane was the FIRST to do more than send me home with a prescription for something I could find in an OTC Neutrogena product. My very first visit he took a culture and started me on antibiotics, just in case it was more than an allergy or typical acne. Only a couple days later the office called to tell me that the culture was positive and I'm on the correct antibiotic. So grateful to Dr. Spillane not only because his willingness to take a slighly aggressive approach helped me be properly diagnosed and treated, but also because it gave me back the confidence to think, "Hey, I've lived in this body for 26 years and what it's doing right now is not normal."
