I went in as a new client needing a regular check-up cleaning. I was told I needed replaning and scaling (deep clean). And when I said I didn' t have the money and requested a regular cleaning, the hygenist only cleaned the bottom teeth from canine to canine. I left wondering what just happened. The 2nd time I went back thinking it'd be better, I was told again that I needed the replaning and scaling. It wasn't covered by my insurance so I asked to just do a normal preventative cleaning and that time was told no BY the dentist. He told his hygenist "Do not put a pick NEAR her teeth. Just polish them and send her on her way". I was almost in tears considering how he snapped at me and the fact that he wouldn't clean my teeth. He came back and later gave me an explanation that "adults don't get their teeth cleaned like children" when I asked why they couldn't just get the tarter off, polish, flouride rinse, etc. I would NOT recommend him AT ALL. Very unprofessional!!
