I have no problems with the dentistry at West Washington Family Dentistry, but Terry, the guy that does the insurance billing at the front desk tried to keep my insurance money, and ducked me for two months. I had to call repeatedly and make 4 or 5 trips there to finally get my money. He tried telling me at one point that only ~$100 of the money was mine, from a $438 check. Then he told me he would mail me the check, and never did. This went on and on for two months.

Like I said, I enjoyed the dentistry there, but the front office operations are underhanded, and I won't return there. In trying to rip off a customer for just ~$400, instead they lost my customer revenue permanently. Crazy way to run a business.

As a new patient with an extraction, I saw an actual dentist/oral surgeon. She was very friendly and the staff made sure I was comfortable and very numb. I just recently lost a filling and plan on going back to them. They were much better than my old (highly regarded but very rude) dentist.

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. The office was easy enough to find. If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else.

While appearing professional, this dental office lacks much in customer service or care. As a disabled person, I informed them immediately of my disability yet they never took it into consideration during my treatment which seriously jeopardized my already aggravated health issues.

In making further appointments, no effort is made to communicate directly between dentist and the receptionist, even when the patient is unable to speak due to procedures. Because of this, an appointment to remove sutures was delayed by almost a week.

New patients are given to Junior dentists with little or no experience and little discussion of possible treatments is ever discussed. Their attitude is hierarchical and very unfriendly.

I would NOT recommend this dental office

They always go above and beyond to make sure I understand every single detail about my dental procedures. I'm always able to get all my questions answered, and I'm never nervous about starting a procedure. I couldn't believe how knowledgeable and well-informed the staff was. They were able to answer all my questions, except the ones they needed to have their boss's input on. It was great to be able to talk to such a skilled staff. They always have an immediate answer for me when I call with a question. They would never try to get me to make an appointment unless I really needed one. I was able to relax during my appointment here. Everyone makes sure you are comfortable and at ease.
