This doctor is only about the money! I had a family emergency, and she didn't care.... still had to pay for my visit ($150 for 15 minutes!) AND I had to pay another $25 for her to simply call in my refills!

While Dr. Holland seems to be an okay psychiatrist, her office staff and her billing practices are appalling. Her office manger is the rudest person I have ever encountered in a professional office setting. Dr. Holland has recently chosen to do creative billing in order to get more money from insurance companies and patients. Not only does she double bill (office visit plus therapy visit) for the 15 minutes she spends with you, she also charges extra for writing a prescription. Plus, if a family member sits in on your visit, she charges for "family therapy" even though she and her office staff tell you up front that she does not do therapy. These unethical billing practices border on insurance fraud. Don't get taken in... you will have to pay what your insurance company doesn't. After nearly two years, I had to find a new doctor. I mean, $800.00 for 15 minutes? Really?!

I wish we had read these reviews before going to Dr. Amy Holland. This office is in it for the money. Office manager is very rude and tell you anything to get in the office. We have already changes doctors, shame on this office for wasting my time.

Amy Holland's office has a shamefully distorted sense of priority. The office is far mor concerned with paperwork and adminstration than mental health. They cancelled my teen's appointment after a four week lead time due to lack of paperwork that they never sent. I have an HSA and am full self pay, so insurance is no excuse. I'm embarassed for them and their damaging practices, they don't care about leaving a kid without help for months on end. Disgusting.

I took my son here due to rage issues. He had been going to counseling, and the counselor recommended her. I thought perhaps he could get a prescription. The first time we met with her, I was in the room with my son. OK, fair enough. We went back for a follow-up, and I was asked to be in the room again. The whole appointment was 20 minutes long and I paid close to $100. Robbery. And the meeting was pretty much nothing. No next steps or anything. I decided to see what would happen if I did not schedule a new appointment, and to my dismay, I was never contacted again. Dr. Holland is only in it for the money.

Today, my son blew up today and nearly attacked my wife while calling her every name under the son. I had to cancel a trip with the family to stay with him. He shows the emotional maturity of someone around 5 or 6. I have given up on psychiatrists and there inconvenient scheduling (usually can't get in for months). They seem to be making it up as they go along. I will probably be forced to try that program you can buy for $300. I really feel bad for my son as he needs help, but nowhere can care enough to help.

Dr. Holland was very instrumental in pulling me out of a very dark place. She is caring and professional. I have referred friends and family to her.
