I sat there to get a simple evaluation filled out.. It was just a few simple questions.. Unfortunately, in the past I totally forgot "1" appointment. Right off, the doctor was angry about the missed appointment and just could not let it go. The entire interview I felt like he had a chip on his shoulder over this one missed appointment. I felt "Ok, here I am having this guy fill an evaluation form out for me and he totally HATES me, detest me and generally doesn't like me".. I sat there.. Each question he asked me in a negative tone.. When I answered, he rephrased in a very condescending manner.. Imagine, you just need some simple generic evaluation filled out and this guy who wants to charge you $300.00 has a chip on his shoulder. I mean he is going to fill the form out in a manner that doesn't reflect highly of you.

So, I ripped the form from his hand and fired the doctor on the spot. It is funny this guy demands some respect but doesn't offer it back in any form. I apologized for the missed appointment and honestly at the time was blind sided by it because I HONESTLY forgot the appointment. Just let it go Doc.. Geez.. I am a human being capable of mistake not a ROBOT like you.. I do have feelings and was upset by the way you treated me! You sit there and call me rude and make me feel less than human... Maybe I can toss that same information back to you in recommendation.. You are a class "A" JERK! Maybe someone can recommend a good psychiatrist for this doctor.. Oh, It was funny running into your drug rep as I exited.. LOL.. interesting...

He first gives you a test consisting of 500 + questions and with those answeres prescribes what I call the drug of the day. I have 0 faith in his ability from my experiences with him. I have seen other psychiatrists before and either they were the best in the world or he is the worst. I feel he is nothing more than a legalized drug pusher with a bedside manner of a stone. If you are looking for help look somewhere else.

My 14 year old daughter was seen by Dr. Greenblum. He initially stated that she did not require medication. 4 days later, his office received a call from my former wife, claiming "deterioration" in my daughter's condition (because she had yelled at her mother). Dr. Greenblum then prescribed 25mg Zoloft. When I called to speak with him regarding her treatment, I was asked by the woman who answered the phone what my specific question was and that a "staff member" would call me. I explained that I had questions regarding my daughter being placed on medication, and that I would like to speak with Dr. Greenblum. Since I am a doctoral level psychologist that specializes in the treatment of children, I had very specific and informed questions as to my daughter's care. Several hours later, a "staff member" called me at stated "due to your daughter's deteriorating condition she was placed on." I asked what the "deteriorating behavior" was and she was unable to answer my question. When I asked, yet again, to speak with Dr. Greenblum, I was told "he does not speak to everybody who calls." I informed her that I believe that he should speak to the father of a minor child he is treating. To this I was told "you are being antagonistic." When I asked how asking to speak to the psychiatrist treating my minor daughter was antagonistic, the staff member replied "You are being antagonistic and this conversation is over." She then hung up. I sent a certified letter describing this exchange to Dr. Greenblum and asking him to call me. He still has not contacted me.

I believe this behavior to be extremely unprofessional. I would advise against anyone taking their children to see this psychiatrist.
