The OD did not suggest well known solutions to me when I informed him of my dry eyes, but simply said that there was nothing that could be done. The office is able to order trial lenses for fitting only through certain vendors and this is only done when they have an order already going in, which means if patients are in the process of being fitted, it can take weeks just to receive a call to try a new lens. Since I work in this industry, I am not impressed with the lack of knowledge from this office or their ability to provide timely service. I will pay out of pocket now for a visit with another OD or an MD who has greater ophthalmic knowledge and who is up to date with current therapies.
