Dr. WIllcox performed a breast reduction due to back pain on me. I din't know that I was pregnant and the nurse did not do a pregnancy test (which is standard) before the surgery and I lost my baby. Also, he had me get a mammogram before the operation but apparently didn't look at the results. The results showed an irregularity. When I asked DR. Willcox about the results, he looked confused and said "Oh well, it's gone now." In fact, later, I went to Dr. Ehret because of nipple retraction. He told me that, if he was to have it fixed, he would have to go in and scrape out all of the scar tissue and that he didnt recommend another surgery. That sounded reasonable so I didnt do anything. A year later my gynecologist saw the same breast and told me to get a mammogram immediately. I did and found out I had Stage 3 Breast Cancer that had spread to my skin and my lymph nodes. They both missed Breast cancer.
