I used to take my mother to see Dr. Halawani for years when his office was on Moon Ave. His staff, especially the receptionists were VERY unprofessional, rude, & lazy! His staff would just sit there chewing gum, & listening to rap music at a level audible to the pts.
The waiting times became longer & longer, the customer service became poorer & poorer, the office visits became more expensive, & the Dr consultations became shorter. Therefore, we stopped seeing Dr. Halawani & took our business elsewhere. My mother was uninsured and paid $150 for a 5 min consult each time. We had enough!

. My first visit back after 3 years I waited 50 minutes, then I went to ask the if they needed anything else from me. Then she gave me the paperwork to fill out. I had offered my id and insurance upon arrival and still after 50 minutes she still had not copied it took me 2 hours before finally getting to see thr DR. The vists with the Dr have not gone well either. I had seen him in 2008. I was referred back to him when I was getting sicker. He had in the records that my numbers were elevated and my scans came back with my glands enlarged.I wouldn't have suffered for so long if it would have been taken care of in the first place.
