Dr. Correa's office does not call, fax or otherwise communicate with the pharmacy for prescriptions and requires that it be picked up in person, no matter how old or sick the patient is.
Dr. Correa does not return family member calls regarding a loved one's hospitalization, discharge or medical care in general.
Dr. Correa does not discuss discharge plans for the patient with the family.
Dr. Correa discharges his patients from the hospital to Braden River Care Center, a facility of which he is Medical Director and sole physician. This relationship is not disclosed by him to the patient. The lack of communication continues at the facility, at which Dr. Correa only shows up on the weekend, and which has no direct way of communicating with him nor helping the family communicate with him.
Dr. Correa has no back-up physician at his office, not even when he is on vacation. Be aware that the office is closed on Fridays, and that you are out of luck if you need help with a prescription on days when he is not there as the answering service will not relay your call.
