Dr Nathan Liang received his bachelor's degree from Rice University followed by a medical degree from the Texas A&M University College of Medicine. He then moved to Pittsburgh and completed his vascular surgery residency at UPMC, while also receiving a master's degree in clinical research from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr Liang's clinical practice includes treatment of aneurysms, lower extremity peripheral arterial disease, mesenteric vascular disease, carotid stenosis, dialysis access, and venous disease and varicose veins. He is trained in both traditional open surgical techniques and minimally invasive endovascular intervention. Dr Liang has a special focus on aortic surgery and treatment of aortic aneurysms and dissection.
