Dr Jeffrey A Toretsky is chief of the Division of Pediatric, Adolescent, and Young Adult Hematology/Oncology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. An internationally recognized expert in sarcomas, he leads the NIH-funded Molecular Oncology Program at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and co-directs a regional multidisciplinary sarcoma clinic. Dr Toretsky’s clinical expertise includes sarcoma, rare tumors, brain tumors, and blood disorders. He and his team provide comprehensive care from diagnosis through survivorship. His lab is developing targeted therapies for Ewing sarcoma, including a new drug currently in phase 1 clinical trials.
