As early as she can remember, Dr Allison Phillips has always been fascinated by science and health care. Initially, she wanted to care for animals as a veterinarian. However, after an incident with a dog at the age of nine, she instead directed her attention to becoming a physician. Cheered on by her mother every step of the way, Dr Phillips completed medical school at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and her residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She now proudly treats pregnant women as an OB-GYN at Methodist Physicians Clinic.
