He received his undergraduate education in Nuclear Medicine from Ferris State University and his Nursing and Nurse Practitioner education from the Johns Hopkins University. He is an active member of the Association for Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nursing, Children's Oncology Group, and Oncology Nursing Society.
