Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: Medicine fascinates me because it is multi-dimensional and requires a life-long learning as new research is coming out every day. But most importantly, medicine allows me to interact with real people, to listen to their stories, and to make a real difference in their lives. The ability to help people is what I find the most fulfilling and rewarding about practicing medicine. What I want my patients to know about me: As I grew up in this area, it is truly an honor to be back to serve this community. I always have my patient's best interest in mind, as pain can be an impediment to living a good life. Pain is a complex field as it has multi-factorial reasons.
