I recognize that every IBD patient is unique and requires an individualized therapy plan. My goal is to educate my patients about their disease and engage them in shared treatment decisions. I am a gastroenterologist at St. Luke’s University Health Network. I have a special interest in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. These are complex conditions that affect many parts of the body and often require life-long therapy and care by several specialists. I practice evidence-based medicine and rely on scientifically proven treatment approaches. Prior to joining St. Luke’s, I was trained as a physician-scientist and studied the intestinal immune system.
