Hello, my name is Dr Ahmed Hussein, and I am an assistant professor in the University of Florida Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. I am board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and clinical cardiovascular electrophysiology. I specialize in treating heart arrhythmias such as tachycardias - when the heart beats too fast, as in atrial fibrillation - and bradycardias, when the heart beats too slowly. I first became interested in heart arrhythmias during a cardiovascular fellowship training in Cairo University, Egypt where I earned my Bachelor of Medicine and a Master of Science.
