Welcome! I am a Connecticut native who has the good fortune to call Colorado home for the past 27 years. As a registered psychotherapist in private practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado, I see a variety of clients including individuals, couples and families. I specialize in loss and transition due to illness, divorce, death, and job loss. I see clients needing stress management, help with self esteem issues, and clients with medical diagnoses so that they can cope with the emotions surrounding illness and disease. I am available as a speaker on a variety of topics bringing psycho-education in an easy to digest manner.
I have over 12 years of experience working with families and clients with TBI’s, Alzheimer’s, and physical disabilities. As a graduate of the University of Phoenix specializing in marriage, family and child therapy, and a graduate of CSU-Pueblo in exercise science, I incorporate health promotion techniques and approach mental health as part of the entire picture of health and complete well-being.
I am an interactive therapist who's therapeutic approach includes providing support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. As a wife, mother and grandmother, I work from the perspective of compassion, understanding, and patience as I work with each individual, couple or family to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
