I would like to see a more balanced article. Coffee has many health benefits such as releasing fatty acids into the system and i a powerful antioxidant. Yes, everything in moderation but, to vilify coffee in such an unbalanced article is simply poor journalism.

Loved your article. I've weaned myself off of coffee a fee years ago, just as you wrote I wasn't getting the boost that I needed anymore. I was a pot a day or more coffee drinker. The weaning off wasn't so bad but I do realize the difference of not drinking as much. I'm still getting my caffeine intake from colas which is worse than the coffee which I will stop drinking very soon. Forget water I just cant do it. I'll stick with my orange juice and teas. Thanks for the article it's a good read for anyone whose trying to stop drinking coffee. With the cold weather coming hot chocolate is the bomb

If you breathe in air continuously, you will eventually die. Therefore, air is evil. 😂 One or two cups of coffee wakes me up in the morning and is a morning ritual in which I take great pleasure. So...no offense...but bugger off! And hands off my coffee! ☕️

No.... not my beloved coffee. Okay, I will cut back to one small cup a day. I'm sure my body and brain will thank me.
