When you start your morning off with healthy foods, in sets the tone for your entire day. Therefore, integrating some form of green nutrition into your breakfast is one way to boost your mood so that you get off to a positive start.

Fresh green vegetable juices provide the body with all the life-giving and mood-boosting vitamins, minerals, and enzymes to power the body as well as the mind. In your juicer, juice three carrots, three celery stalks, ½ bunch spinach, and ½ bunch parsley. This little mood-boosting green juice is loaded with potassium. It's also highly effective for cleansing the blood and all the tissues of the body. If you like to drink an acidic drink in the morning, such as coffee, this green juice neutralizes those acids while rebuilding your cells.

You'll also want to add a healthy protein and a healthy fat to this green juice when you're putting your morning breakfast together. Healthy fats and proteins support your brain, elevating your mood in the process. Think avocado toasts or a smoothie made with bananas almond milk and almond butter.

Meditation is meditation. Can't imagine how Buddhism could threaten anyone. No ideologies, no gods to kill for. I'm not Buddhist. There are Buddhists I find compatible and Buddhists whose earthly behaviour / personalities are not. And thinking kind thoughts towards self, others, the Good Earth seems healthier than American Sniper or Breaking Bad mentality.
A 1500 lb Quarter horse taught me 5 decades ago that love and kindness are the only bargaining tools that don't require a life of looking over your shoulder.

Article was good til it said to do Buddhist meditations.... I certainly am not interested in that kind of meditation. Also it has turned me off from bothering to read anything else that you write since I know from whence your words are coming.
