Dr. Kerkering is definitely a doctor who gets to the bottom of things. He is proactive in his care, not reactive, which is why I changed to him. Both of my parents have been patients of his, and they love him as well. He didn't hesitate to refer me out to specialists that are closer to my home when needed, since it is a 35 minute drive from my home to his office. He had no problem allowing me to continue seeing the anti-coagulation clinic I have been a patient of for quite awhile, even though he provides the exact same services right in his office. Most doctors insist on keeping everything in-house when possible. One of the first things I noticed about this business was the level of detail and attention to make the building handicap-accessible. Even the bathrooms were designed to be accessible with doors wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and grab bars in the stalls. You could tell they really made an effort to accommodate people with all different needs. Their office was well organized pleasant, and clean. It is even decorated for all holidays! The staff is extremely welcoming and accommodating. Really friendly, warm people. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here and it is much appreciated, even though this is a fairly large practice. I never feel like a "number" or a burden to anyone.
