Very unhappy with the treatment dished out to humans, not animals. My Mother's kitty cat was taken by a care giver to Kindness Animal Hospital for an exam on 8/22/16. This was done because ongoing medicines would not be renewed by pharmacy unless exam was done. Exam costs included the exam, blood collect, T4 By Ria, and booster for $115.00 and that amount was paid that day. I'm not complaining about the costs but downright maddening not to get results after phone call after phone call requesting them. On 9/2/16 another phone call was made and this time a demand to know. Lady on phone was rude and again putting the doctor's (Maendl) responsibility and accountability off. Said his "book was filled today with appointments!" Kitty belongs to my Mom who is in assisted living. She has only one kitty left after at one time owning 5! She has always taken her animals to Kindness. I am sure she has paid thousands to this animal hospital. I am outraged that they treat their customers with such rudeness and irresponsibility. Future clients....beware. They do not follow up with what you are paying for!

In 2012 around Christmas time my beloved mom caught MRSA, She only had a 20% chance to live, we bought her a Italian greyhound to lift her spirits. An a Xmas miracle we witnessed as my mom got better. we believed this was due to our greyhound "Goose". A year later almost to the day Goose got kicked by a horse. We took him into kindness in very much of a panic! Dr. Maendl came up grabbed Goose took him to the back and assessed the situation (in a very calm matter). We were in there so much trying to save goose that we were able to become very close to doctor art and his staff ( like family). Thank god for the new staff and doctor art.

I've been going to kindness for 40 years, recently Dr.Maendl bought the business from Dr.K.
I really got to know Dr.Maendl and the new staff very VERY well since last December when my little dog severally broke his leg. He didn't know if he could save it( that's how bad it was) but after 7 months of almost daily care he is back to his old self. I can not thank Dr. Maendl and his new staff for the care and treatment my dog and I received. If it wasn't for how I was treated then I don't know what my dog and I would have done.

He even took my dog home with him to make sure his leg surgery took, now how many doctors do you know would have done that, and iv been dealing with vets for over 60 years.

Thanks for saving my little dido's leg

We have been clients of Kindness for several years, along with other family members. Unfortunately we will be saying good bye do to the unbelievably RUDE office staff. When we questioned the cost of a procedure , we had been quoted a lower price when we made the appointment , we were told " This is not happening, obviously there is already a problem and we can refuse service".
This little girl went on to say how she had been employed there since October and knew the prices and obviously she thought our cat, Princess, was a male. It went on for a few more moments. I have never been treated so poorly and rude.
Love the doctors, but won't tolerate indignant rude office staff.
2 other family members have reported the same treatment and will not be back. Unfortunate...we have a lot of animals.

The chairs in the waiting room were not too comfortable. I didn't want to wait too long. I would never recommend them to anyone. They were terrible. I'm not entirely sure that they will but I sure hope this provider will stick with me to resolve my situation. Before the new owner took over they were awesome. Dr. KALBFLEISCH was the best vet ever, but now every time I go in, there are new people. That is a big red flag. Managers and owners that can't keep good help is a direct reflection on themselves. I doubt this business will last long.

Absolutely! They handle everything from annual shots to complicated illnesses, with competence and loving care

Definitely! They always call me back very quickly!
