Wanted to know how I knew I had Parkinson's and how did I want to go about treating it. Told him I had trouble going to sleep because of the tremors and my toes curling up asked him for something to help it. He asked what I was doing for it now. I told him vodka - tonic. He told me to keep doing what I'm doing now

When my mother was first referred to Doctor Steven Mellies about 15 years ago..the referring physician, Dr. Christ, assured my timid mom..not to worry..he was among "the Good Guys"! This Doctor came into his office @7:00 AM the next day to address her serious symptoms. Not only has my own and several family members found him to be warm accessible and interactive..but totally committed to clarifying symptoms and thoughtfully presenting choices and recommendations. I feel fully included in my own care and treatment. His style is echoed by his staff who are warm, efficient and flexible on every level.

Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. It is so refreshing to see a provider that you can tell truly cares about their appearance. They strive to maintain a professional appearance and look their best at all times. Let me just say that this business is in one of the safest areas around and you will be pleasantly surprised at how lovely the surroundings are. I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference.

They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous.
