TThank you Dr. Bruce Larrick for helping me overcome my fear of dentists. Dr. Larrick’s office immediately put me at ease when I observed all of the art and plants that welcomed me. I was scheduled for a deep cleaning. He assured me it would not be uncomfortable because he would make sure of it. I had radiation treatments and he worked with my oncology doctors and worked out a plan. In two appointments my impressions were made, 5 extractions (which he did very slowly, 2 hours to be exact) and partials in place. I am so excited to smile again! I had no pain or infection due to the wonderful care I received. Dr. Larrick could have referred to me an oral surgeon but he took on the challenge and saved me a great deal of money an anxiety. Most general dentists would have referred me and never thought about it. I thank God for Dr. Larrick and his wonderful staff and highly recommend him to anyone!!

Please do not visit this dentist! At first, I was taken aback by the odd décor, which I would have been able to get over had things not been so dirty and dusty. I expect a professional business, especially those in the health field, to be run in a clean, updated environment.
I waited over an hour before seeing the dentist. Before he came in I overheard a conversation he was having with a previous patient in the hallway. Somewhere during this conversation, one of his staff members reminded the dentist that he had a patient waiting to be seen, but the dentist continued on with the previous patient. Their conversation continued to online reviews. The dentist made the analogy that a good batting average for a baseball player is .350, while 99% of his interactions with patients have been successful. The dentist continued by saying that, obviously there is going to be 1% who are unhappy. What really clued me in to the dentist’s true character was when he told this patient to go online to all the sites and write a positive review. The dentist stressed that they could just copy and paste the same positive review from site to site, but they should try to do it on as many sites as possible. Asking a patient to write positive reviews for you is incredibly unprofessional!
After an hour and 15 minutes the dentist finally materialized in my room with only a terse apology for the wait. He did not put on gloves (totally unsanitary) and proceed to look in my mouth, although not very closely. The dentist then started on a tirade of self-promoting bs. While some of what he said was true because I had heard it before, it is hard to trust the advice of anyone who runs such and unprofessional dental office and does not even fully examine your mouth! Even after such a brief look the dentist suggested that I get the thorough cleaning instead of the “free” cleaning. He just wanted to make extra money. All cleanings should be the same, a good cleaning, is a good cleaning.
The office staff was fine and considerably more polite and professional than the dentist. I was also surprised to see a $9 OSHA Sterilization Fee on my bill. While I do hope that that all dentists comply with all OSHA regulations, it would seem that sterilization is standard and that he was just trying to make extra money!
I do not recommend this dentist office to anyone. They need to reevaluate the way they run their business and the way they interact with patients and maybe hire a cleaning service!

I would not recommend this dentist at all. I went to him to have a filling done. After waiting for 2 and a half hours in the waiting room he performed the procedure without an assistant because she had gone home (it was past 5pm). The procedure was very difficult and it made me, who has never been nervous at or about the dentist before, very nervous. I had to go back a week and a half later to have my bite on that tooth adjusted. Dr. Larrick had me bite down on some chalk. He first had me bite down on the wrong side of my mouth and I told him it was the other side. He apologized and had me bite the chalk on the correct side this time. However, when he went to start drilling to shave off the extra bit of filling he started to drill the wrong tooth (bottom tooth, not top tooth), and I had to tell him which tooth it was. His office staff is very nice, and overall I think he is a nice man, but I did not feel confidant in him as a dentist. He seems to have the best intentions and seems to try to make his patients very comfortable, but I did not feel as if he was attentive enough to really had a handle on what was going on in my mouth. Furthermore, the office, although it is full of fun decorations, is dusty and not well kept up. The dental rooms look as if they have not been properly cleaned in years. There is stuff (magazines, paper, other miscellaneous dental stuff) laying around everywhere and the dental equipment is left laying around and disorganized. I have applied to change my dentist and I certainly will not go back to him.
